コロンビア大学SIWPS Annual Saltzman Forum: 「オバマ政権のアフガニスタン政策｣（2009年４月）　福田充（日本大学法学部）


私が客員研究員として所属するコロンビア大学SIWPS（ザルツマン戦争と平和研究所）が、毎年恒例の
年次大会フォーラムを開催しました。テーマは「オバマ政権のアフガニスタン政策｣です。
オバマ政権の新たな「テロとの戦い｣の主戦場はアフガニスタンへとシフトしました。
イラクから漸次撤退し、アフガニスタンへと米軍を増派するオバマ政権のアフガニスタン政策と戦略は
どうあるべきか、そしてこれからのアフガニスタンはどうなるのか、第一線の研究者が議論しました。
パネルは２部構成で、多くの参加者、テレビカメラや新聞記者が集まりました。
